The UC Berkeley Global Science Institute and Weizmann Institute of Science are inviting applications for The Olive Fellowship for students to participate in the Laboratory Research Experience Program (LRE) at UC Berkeley. Citizens of Israel, Palestine, or other Arab countries are eligible to apply for this fellowship.
The LRE program is a non-credit bearing summer enrichment program for emerging scholars who seek to learn hands-on about research techniques in a group laboratory setting. Through this program, you will learn to think independently, process advanced chemistry concepts and apply chemical theory, effectively communicate and substantiate your ideas to others, and build group dynamic skills while being mentored through various research modules.
UC Berkeley retains the title of the world’s No.1 public, and fourth-best university overall, in U.S. News & World Report’s latest global rankings. As they did last year, Harvard, MIT and Stanford took the top three spots, with the UK’s University of Oxford right behind Berkeley to round out the top five.
